I used to think I was a victim of my story until I realized the truth; that I am the creator of my story.
I choose what type of person I will be and what type of impact I will leave on others.

Julien Abegglen Verazzi | Founder

Julien grew up around the world, mostly in conflict regions, in a plethora of languages and (spi-)ritual traditions. Inspired by human diversity, he graduated in Slavonic and Oriental Studies at the University of Geneva and then obtained his Masters degree in Humanitarian Diplomacy at SOAS (London) before dedicating his early career to the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations. Confronted to the scourge of war, ignorance and reciprocal hatred, he then turned to the civil society and founded the Humanisthme Association.

Since 2008, he has been working as a freelance humanist activist, celebrant and interpreter, advocating and raising awareness about discriminations and providing bespoke ceremonies through major thresholds of life. Today, he accompanies individuals, couples and families with different backgrounds, across and beyond their differences, in their search for meaning, coherence and the sacred. Besides, he draws his steadfastness from the Sufi spiritual tradition and he dreams in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German and Arabic.

Bernadette Abegglen Verazzi | Co-founder

Bernadette graduated in Clinical Psychology from the University of Geneva. She has worked as a psychologist/psychotherapist for various international, public and private organizations. For nearly 25 years, she has worked in humanitarian work for UNICEF in Latin America, Africa and Europe. Her initial vocation as a psychologist was enriched by a wide range of experiences, including large-scale management of programs for health promotion and education for women and children, development and implementation of public health projects, HR management, coaching of medical and social groups and companies.

Over the past 15 years, she has reoriented her practice by devoting particular attention to an individual holistic body/psyche/mind approach inspired by the latest trends in psycho-neuroimmunology, psychosomatic and meta-medicine. Specialized in the method of Dr. Carl Simonton, she accompanies patients affected in their health. In addition to this specific approach, she practices humanistic psychotherapy by integrating various specializations such as EMDR, Ericksonian hypnosis, regression, IADC, amongst other tools available to suit the particular needs of each patient. Polyglotte, she welcomes patients in French, Italian, English or Spanish.

Virna Signorelli | Co-founder

Virna Signorelli is Swiss but spent her early years traveling around the world, raising her awareness towards the others. After studying anthropology, she shifted towards psychology, the science that seemed the most adequate to understand human relational and family dynamics or the link between individuals and health. After graduating at the university of Geneva, she spent two years in Paris where she did a MAS in medical and biological ethics at the University René Descartes-Paris V, then she trained in psychotherapy for children with cancers in oncology pediatric centers (Paris).

Her experience encouraged her to continue learning and broaden her therapeutic tools: family therapy, short therapy and hypnosis. Recently, she trained in energetic therapies to enlarge her understanding of humans in a more holistic vision. Currently, she receives on private patients, children and adults, and she gives trainings in autohypnosis with the aim of providing tools of self development to people who want to develop a better relationship with themselves and their surrounding environment. She speaks French and Italian.
